We believe all lab work, x-rays, and procedures that are ordered by our
office are medically necessary. However, there are times the insurance companies will not pay for the tests we order.
Upon arrival to a blood drawing station (i.e. Quest Labs, Lab Corp, or Kent General Hospital)
you will be told if your insurance company will pay for your testing.
If the insurance company will not pay for your tests, YOU will be
responsible for the bill. You have the right to refuse testing your insurance does not pay for.
However, it is then possible that an important medical problem will be missed if your lab work is not done.
Please take this into consideration EVERY TIME you have blood work done.
